She keeps running,
Through my thoughts,
Always on my mind,
She paces herself well,
For she races against time,
She can run a marathon,
One could call it life,
She lives each breath,
As she runs swiftly,
One step at a time,
She runs with passion,
A rhythm in each stride,
Her heartbeats are the music,
And it’s quite a delight,
To watch her feet dance,
Like a cheetah in pursuit,
A predator on the hunt,
She runs like the wind,
And races like the fire,
And to win is her desire,
She likes how the wind,
Flows through her hair,
She likes how the sweat,
Trickles down her pretty face,
Like little drops of rain,
She loves to go running,
Ecstatic when on the move,
All worries left behind,
Only the finish line in sight,
For her life is but a race,
Perhaps she was born to run,
She was a stallion by birth,
Now a mustang on the loose,
A runner one of a kind,
She’s the one setting the pace,
Each day is a marathon,
She runs it with grace,
Against the toughest odds,
As she blazes the roads afoot,
She is the runner; a sight to behold.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for having been away for so long and not having posted anything on WordPress in the past few weeks. I’ve really missed reading all your blogs and hope to catch up with your posts. I hope you’ve all been well!
“To be a poet is a condition, not a profession.”
– Robert Frost
As for me, I’ve just been a bit busy with work but I’m back now! 😁 I wanted to post a while back, but I believe that any post that is rushed and does not feel like an honest conversation wouldn’t be right. So, I decided to wait and let my condition of being a poet compel me to return to writing. Especially with something that would do justice to all those who read my posts.
I really do look forward to reading all your blogs and sharing my thoughts. Hope you all share your thoughts too, as always I look forward to hearing from you all. Hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend!
Cheers, your fellow blogger Advaita 😊

Life is indeed a long run, what else it can be? Not a race because we are not here to win or defeat someone else. This run is for ourselves, with ourselves. Our only motive should be reaching the finish line, be it today or thousand days down the line. It is up to us.
An inspirational poem Advaita. 🙂
